here's some work in progress for my new Daenerys artworks and a sample of all the tools I use. It's also important to have a paper that 'take' markers well, you do not want too much bleeding and just enough to make great shading and blending.
I use smooth bristol/strathmore.
My personal sketch cards are made of something very similar and printed by 'Versicolor'. Some are pure white while others have a light tan into them

tool used--)
Bruynzeel design aquarel (linings, erase well, will blend with marker)
marker : Touch, Promarker (area, blending)
colored copic multiliner SP 0.05 ans 0.03 (detail)
prismacolor verithin (detail)
prismacolor premier (use over dark surfaces for highlights or to enlight a part that has been darkened to much with markers)
copic white
precision brush
eraser (erase and absorb small pencil fragments that can get in the way of markers)
gold or silver liner
Stabilo-all surface, very useful
pencil extension

Wow, I'm impressed by the fact that you have so many different "tools" and know how to use them all to create this.
The art work is impressive but the way you get there is more....
I would truly love to see a tutorial on this process... I dying to learn new skills and methods.

Top notch!

now you have to publish your artbook, a patchwork of your art or a "How to" could be great
