just to show you the real size guy of my HP sketch cards so they are 2.5*3.5 inch
media I used for all my 'Harry Potter' cards: watercolor pencil blended in marker copic opaque white n white dry pen used for glass/metal (the ones that can write on everything) copic colored multiliners 0.03 n 0.05 verithin prismacolor n normal one sometime
tech note: I use the watercolor pencil in first stage with marker so I can dilute my lines and areas in case it's not perfect, I build mostly from shadows at first. I use the colorless marker a lot in all my drawings, the ink act as water to dilute parts to avoid decisive marker lines at the end stage of drawings, I switch to verithin n multiliner for details, but can still use watercolor pencil for texture and modify colors with marker's help
I'll move that deviation in scraps in a few days, original post can be seen here (made some changes on Ron's eyes today and in background parts)
At first I thought you were lying about creating this piece traditionally and you had manipulated a picture from the film.. because it's SO DAMN GOOD!!!!
regards
