just finished after 3 weeks!!
it's my most ambitious piece so far (oil paintings excluded, cuz I'm an oil painting artist, classic trained. Most of my work are studies, so...not gonna show them here...)

It's a mixed media piece showing Jamie Bamber (Apollo) and Kandyse McClure (Dualla) from season 3 of BSG. Made with dry aquarel pencils sometime blended with low colors markers.

Costume are made with a cerulean marker background and colored with various aqua pencils. Highlights are oil made, mostly pink tone and Copic opaque white (kinda white acrylics)

thats about it!:)
I'm very pround of that one as it was kinda hard to pull it off!

If someone would like to featured it on his journal, would be of great help. Will return favor later when it will be worth it (not enough watchers yet...)

Hey I know about long work times... my average time is about 10 to 12 hours a piece for an 11 by 14 drawing! That is one subject... On my largest drawings it could take up to 50 hours! Of course, I can't really work for that many hors straight without the artist fuel dying off after a couple hours so those hours turn into weeks!
