The 3rd sister piece of my Dae/Dragon duets is featuring Viserion, the cream/pale one; while the dragon on 'Daenerys' features Rhaegal with bright colors and the 'Dark Daenerys' one features Drogon, the red and black dragon. All 3 card size artworks (2.5*3.5 inch) are done with markers/watercolor pencils and multiliners
Hello, I am amazed at such an accomplishment with watercolor but at the same time confused... How do you go into such detail with such a small size of paper? I know it's supposed to be card size but... I'm learning to use watercolor and I have no idea how you can go into such detail, the markers, maye?
well, for this one, I didn't use pure watercolor paint, only watercolor pencils than blend in well with markers tiny details can only be done with multiliners 0.05 or 0.03 so I didn't use any brush at all except to apply copic white paint for highlights hope that helps
Immensely, Thanks you I never imagined I could use watercolor pencils in such fashion, it really looks like watercolor, without all the texture lines that sometimes happen with watercolor pencils. Thanks for explaining, I'll remember that
