Kahlan’s run is cut short as a burst of green energy stops her in her path. As she pauses in front of the otherworldly form, the men chasing her shout for her to give up as there is no way to cross. Pulling a glowing orb from her belt, a look of steely determination crosses her face as she pushes it towards the boundary. The boundary parts like a glowing green curtain and she races through, the armed men hot on her heels.
